Head of Asia Country Risk

The employer is a global leader in financial information services with operations in more than 30 countries.

Manage a team of 4-5 full time analysts covering the Asia Pacific region
Edit copy, assist with article structure and provide guidance/challenge views and forecasts where necessary
Hire and train analysts where necessary for open roles
Inspiring and encouraging members of the team to perform at high levels of excellence via your example and mentorship

Experience working as Head of an Asia research team, looking at macroeconomic or sovereign risk, including experience writing forward-looking, opinion-driven research on GDP, fiscal and monetary policy, foreign exchange etc
Or, experience working in a senior Asia Country Risk role, where responsibilities included the mentoring and oversight of junior team members, and with a desire to take the next step in your career
Ability to work with and analyse large data sets
Familiarity analysing connections between political and macroeconomic risk
Ability to cope with time pressure and deadlines
Fluent spoken and written English
Strong public speaker
Excellent and proactive communicator
Track record in hiring, training and managing/mentoring a small team
