Abacus have the pleasure of working with an International manufacturing business based near Grange Park, Northampton. Due to ongoing expansion they are looking to take on board an ambitious Part Qualified ACCA/ACCA/CIMA Assistant Accountant.
This role would require travel twice a week to sister sites in South London. Reporting in to the Financial Controller your day to day duties as Assistant Accountant would include:
* Reviewing contents and coding of nominal ledger.
* Preparation of detailed profitability analysis for each revenue stream.
* Support various business areas with financial analysis and support on a weekly basis
* Analysis of Departmental Costs
* Customer Margin Analysis
* Analysis of Business KPI’s
* Assist with preparation of annual business plan
* Arrange/review internal audits
* Assist other members of the finance team as required and cover annual leave/absence
* Assist Finance Manager with other adhoc tasks as required
This client is looking for somebody determined, hardworking with an analytical mind. This role would suit someone with a hands-on approach, and you will possess a good understanding of profitability, costing and analysis and be comfortable liaising with non-financial members of the business
