Financial Reporting Accountant

Work with all areas of finance to contribute to the monthly and statutory reporting process.

Use strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards to enforce and help implement any reporting process changes.

A large and highly prestigious Financial Services organisation. My Client is one of the largest businesses in its sector and supports millions of customers nationwide.

Description

The Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for delivering Financial Reporting services for the

Group including Group accounts, preparation of interim and yearly financial statements, whilst ensuring compliance of

Group accounting policies and IFRS accounting standards.

Challenge processes and provide support to improve while identifying new risks and solutions.

The Financial Reporting Accountant will support projects as required and will be responsible for monitoring

future changes in reporting requirements and supporting the Financial Reporting Manager in identifying the

impact to the business and respective teams and once identified plan, prepare and implement changes as

appropriate.

Profile

The successful candidate will have strong statutory accounting experience and a technical skill set.

ACA/ACCA Qualified

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to challenge ideas and work closely with colleagues within Group and Finance.

Work experience within financial operations / reporting / control or within accountancy practice.

IFRS and IFRS 9 knowledge.
