Are you looking for an exciting opportunity within an ambitious and growing firm?
REED recruitment practice specialists are currently recruiting for an audit senior on a temporary basis contract within a well-known accountancy practice located in Central London.
The role will involve working on audits however may also be required to work on statutory accounts. You will be required to carry out UK statutory audits from planning to completion for a range of their clients. You will have strong communication skills and be able to analyse and interpret data.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the PROaudit pack has been approved by a manager/partner before carrying out an audit
• Prepare to be out of office at client sites time conducting audits and advising on accounting packages
• Good understanding of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
Complete compliance reports, ensuring the Compliance department are informed of high risk clients
• Ensure office and on site audit work is carried out, including allocation of work within the designated team, in a professional manner
Attributes, Requirements & Skills:
• Qualifications: Part -qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Solid experience in practice, 50% of which should be relevant audit experience
• Previous exposure/working knowledge of PROaudit
• Work under pressure with accuracy and focus
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Competent using MS Office
• Good understanding of business and economy
• Industry knowledge dependent on group
• Proven planning and prioritising skills
Previous experience of working in Practice is essential and you will be highly experienced using CCH software.
