A leading and growing firm of accountants, based in Yeovil, is looking to bolster the team with an ACA /ACCA Qualified Senior Accountant in a role offering increasing responsibility and career progression path on offer.

Our client is a leading and growing accountancy practice based in Yeovil, highly regarded and undergoing continued positive growth and expansion. Their Business Services team numbers around twenty people, with partner and managerial team of around four to five people managing a wide ranging team of accounting professionals varying in level, background and experience. The firms clients are wide ranging in turnover and industry across OMBs, SMEs and wide ranging corporate limited company clients, with a core turnover into the £millions.

Description

With growth across the firm, through organic new client growth and recent acquisitions, the partners and senior managers are looking to bring in the right individual, as a key addition here as a Qualified Senior Accountant, in a role where you will significant opportunity to progress in both responsibility and technical skill development, as a Qualified Senior Accountant. You will take responsibility for the hands on delivery of accounts, tax and other services to mixed, wide ranging client base of OMBs and corporate clients, as well as reviewing and preparing more complex accounts and other services for smaller, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, managing juniors and helping in their development. There are career progression prospects on offer, with increasing client management responsibilities over time, involvement in wide ranging advisory project work and the chance to further your career in a leading firm.

Profile

You must have a career background within accountancy firm environment, preparing accounts, tax and other general accountancy service responsibilities as a qualified Senior Accountant, or similar level. Your background may have been gained in any of Top Tier Mid Tier, Top 50 or large/medium/small independent firm environment and you will be looking to progress in your career. You may be ACCA / ACA recently qualified, with anything up to 1 - 2 years or more post qualified experience and be looking to join a leading firm of accountants where you can progress in your career.

Job Offer

£28,000 - £34,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable, plus benefits.
