Finance Analyst (Contract Logistics Finance)

The Financial Analyst supports international regions and generates managerial and statutory reports. The Financial Analyst reports to the Supervisor and key responsibilities include

• Reports formulation
• Generates weekly/monthly volume and revenue reports to provide management with financial results, which captures accuracy and correct variances
• Distributes financial reports to various internal stakeholders as well as coordinating & collating the essential information needed
• Conducts Variance Analysis and System Audits
• Analyzes financial reporting and data variances to identify problem root causes and implements corrective solutions to eliminate recurring errors
• Audits the reporting system to ensure optimal usage and authorized user access
• Support for Internal Stakeholders
• Collaborates with requestors (internal customers) to establish data reports and ensure timely delivery and meeting desired results
• Follows up with requestors on report specifications to ensure clear understanding of desired results
• Works closely with Share Service sites and fields on monthly closing activities; identifies and follow on areas of concern within accounting processes

Who we are looking for

• University degree holder in Finance & Accounting; open to tertiary education but with good working experience
• 2 to 3 years of experience in an Finance & Accounting capacity in any industries
• Able to apply accounting theory and principles are mandatory
• Strong analytical, coordinating and follow-up skills, with great attention to details and able to think innovatively
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• A good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good written & spoken English; proficiency in any other Asian language is a plus
