My exclusive and retained client is a Private Equity Backed Services Business based in Mid Kent. They are seeking a new Financial Controller to perform a varied and pivotal role as they grow organically and by acquisition.

Description

The Financial Controller role is pivotal role in the organisation as the business grows significant organically and through an acquisition strategy. The role will provide vital support to the CFO and is key in providing management with timely and accurate financial information and management of the overall financial systems for the evolving Group.

The position will be responsible for a newly formed finance function and is an exciting opportunity for candidates to be involved in a Private Equity backed business early in the investment cycle and experience a high growth business, acquisition strategy and become pivotal in the exit process.

The position holds overall ownership for the day to day financial requirements of the consolidated Amtivo Group, including the production of periodic financial reports (including monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts), maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, monthly payroll preparation, cash management including credit control, local regulatory (tax including VAT and PAYE) and statutory reporting requirements.

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Financial Controller position will have experience of applying their technical accounting knowledge primarily to acquisition accounting, intercompany transactions and consolidated accounts. In addition, the ability to hit the ground running on the day to day activities, excellent problem solving skills and taking ownership of the role , makes this an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant who is highly ambitious, and has a drive to deliver excellent results in a short time frame.
