Accounts Assistant

iMultiply are delighted to exclusively engaged on the position of Interim Accounts Assistant (9-12 months). The role is based in Edinburgh and is offering a salary of £20,000 - £22,000.

The Role

The successful candidate will have experience in processing high volumes of invoices daily and all associated finance functions. Ideally, you will have been exposed to a fast-paced environment and be able to perform the role in an autonomous fashion.

On Offer

The position of Interim Accounts Assistant (9-12 months) offers a salary of £20,000 - £22,000 including an excellent benefits package.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

• Processing high volume purchase invoices
• Performing Supplier Reconciliations
• Administer Purchase Order process including invoice authorisations
• Reconcile Accounts Payable Ledger to Nominal Ledger
• Review Aged Creditor Analysis & debit balances
• Liaise with suppliers regarding payment queries
• Administer company expense process
• Supporting where appropriate the accounts administrators in other areas of the finance team
• Ad hoc project work as directed by the Finance management team

To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following experience:

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a similar working environment
• Analytically minded and a minimum of intermediate Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work under minimal supervision and as part of a team
