Management Accountant

INTERIM MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT- 4 MONTH ASSIGNMENT - CENTRAL CAMBRIDGE Exclusive interim assignment available at one of the colleges at The University Of Cambridge. Experienced, ideally CIMA qualified accountant required to assist with the management accounts on an interim basis.In your new role your key responsibilites include;• Preparation of consolidated management accounts• Preparation of core and project quarterly accounts• Liaising with Heads of Department to ensure that they have the management accounting information they need, are able to interpret financial information provided to them and assist them with preparation of their budgets• Lead the process of inputting budgets and forecasts onto the accounting system• Training of other offices on Sage budget functionality• Production of financial reporting• Assist in preparation of finance KPI's• Bank reconciliation's• Assisting with month-end reconciliation's• Providing cover in the finance department during periods of absenceOther role specifics• Business partnering to other departments within the University.You will need previous accounting experience, along with excellent business partnership skills and the ability to adapt to each department. CIMA or ACCA qualification is desirable, but a working knowledge of financial accounts is essential to succeed.
