Contract (12 months) Officer, Accounts Payable role with FI-2 mths completion bonus at end of 1 yr for a good performer
-Renowned and Global FI
-3-6 years of relevant AP experience gained with MNCs

For this role, you are part of a global FI. This role sits in the finance department.
Responsibilities
•Processing of vendor and staff claim payments using cheques, telegraphic transfers, electronic banking, bank drafts etc.
•Ensure invoices & claims are properly approved in accordance with company’s policies
•Processing of international fund transfers and global payments
•Processing of foreign currency payments via FX with treasury desk or direct with the bank
•Check / Code expenses in accordance with Tax, Accounting, and Management reporting requirements
•Preparation of relevant forms for standing GIRO payments and standing GIRO instructions
•Preparation of relevant expense related withholding taxes.

Technical skills
-3-6 years of relevant AP experience gained with MNCs
-Strong in accounting entries and requirement to post accounting entries
-Knowledge in GST and withholding tax is an advantage
-Knowledge in SAP system and Concur system is an advantage but not a must
Soft skills
-Meticulous and analytical
-Strong documentation skills
-Good communication skills to liaise with staff or external vendors
-Independent and ability to work in a fast paced and stressful environment
-Highly committed to work
-Fast learner and adaptable
-Able to commit to a 1yr contract
