MARKETING MANAGER

The JPS & Partners Co-operative Credit Union is seeking to identify a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position of Marketing Manager at its Half Way Tree Road Branch MARKETING MANAGER CORE FUNCTIONS Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent is accountable for the achievement of the Credit Union's marketing, advertising sales and promotions strategic objectives and initiatives. The incumbent is accountable for the development and implementation of an effective marketing and public relations programme to promote the Credit Union's brand and create demand for its products and services to the targeted groups. Duties and responsibilities will include: Coordinate the development and implementation of marketing and promotional programmes for the Credit Union's products and services, this includes making regular presentations to target groups. Manage all activities within the department to ensure its effective and efficient operations in accordance with established procedures. Contribute to the Credit Union's Strategic planning process to include the preparation of the annual marketing budget. Monitor marketing activities and provide timely report and recommendations to the General Manager and the Board of Directors. Focus on business development as a means to ensure that the Credit Union's competitive advantage is maintained. Provide assistance to the General Manager to facilitate the harnessing of business opportunities and accomplishments of the Credit Union's overall revenue generation objectives. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS BSC. Degree in Marketing MBA in Marketing would be an asset Minimum of five (5) years progressive experience in a marketing department at a Senior Officer level Computer literate with proficiency in the Microsoft office suite and human resource management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Other Characteristics Strong leadership and managerial skills Attention to detail and a commitment to maintain high standards and discipline Sound knowledge of marketing principles and practices Strong negotiation sales and marketing skills Ability to work under pressure.
