Management Accountant for a London based charity

The charity is over 100 years old and is based in South West London.
Responsibilities
The client is seeking a committed and ambitious Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience Management Accountant to fulfil an exciting and varied role within its head office environment.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this challenging and busy role will see the successful candidate producing monthly management accounts for the organisation, playing a key role in the production of annual budgets and regular forecasts and reforecasts. In addition, this role will involve regular contact with a range of budget-holders across the organisation, providing financial support and advice to non-finance colleagues, analysing and addressing any areas of over and under-spend.
The successful candidate will also be tasked with conducting analysis of a range of operational key performance indicators, as well as taking a proactive approach to process improvement.
This exciting role would suit a recently Qualified Management Accountant with strong organisational and communications skills.
Qualifications/experience required
Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience with strong Management Accountant experience.
Finalist or recently qualified Accountant from the Not for Profit Sector.

- Produce accurate and timely monthly management and departmentalaccounts.
- Hold regular reviews with budget holders, identifying variances and correcting errors accordingly. Provide alerts on matters of likely current or future financial concern as soon as these are known within the management accountscommentary.
- Provide ad hoc financial management information and analysis on request, including in the more technically complex areas of the managementaccounts.
- Provide information relating to key performance indicators including sector comparisons where appropriate to Executive Team andCommittees.
The successful candidate will also be tasked with conducting analysis of a range of operational key performance indicators, as well as taking a proactive approach to process improvement.
