Data Reporting Analyst

Data Analyst (Pricing)

The key accountabilities of the role:

Understand, analyse and cleanse pricing datasets to develop datasets that are fit to be used for modelling purposes
Work closely with the MI team and the wider business to understand the data flow and how it should be delivered to the pricing team
Produce, develop and automate weekly and monthly reports that will inform the business of the impact that pricing activities are having, particularly the key drivers of conversion and retention.
Analyse key KPIs and provide commentary on performance against budget, focusing on business mix shifts and other key drivers of performance
Build ad-hoc reports that will inform the pricing decisions made by the pricing team
Solve complex data issues and inform the pricing team of any issues identified
Build, review and document price changes

The skills you'll have:

A relevant qualification such as a 2:1 in a numerical degree (such as maths, statistics and operational research) or equivalent professional qualification
Ideally you will have some experience of dealing with and analysing large datasets
Experience of working with any of the following tools is desirable: SQL, R, SAS and Python.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office and an excellent working knowledge of excel; VBA is advantageous
