A very successful construction company based in Bromley are looking for an accounts payable assistant to join their finance team on a full time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for assisting the Purchase Ledger Accountant in ensuring the timely completeness and accuracy of all purchase ledger postings.
Core working hours 8.30am to 5pm.
25 days plus 8 BH
Pension and Healthcare scheme
No parking on site
Key responsibilities
· Processing of invoices on our finance system
· Send invoices around the business for approval
· Answer phone calls from suppliers
· Reconcile supplier statements
· Assist with managing the accounts email inbox
· Provide cover for the Purchase Ledger Accountant, including the preparation of BACS payments
· Liaise with depots as appropriate
· Provide support to the wider finance team in any other ad-hoc projects and requests
