Financial Accountant

An opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join this Ely based FMCG and have an immediate impact on the success of the business. Within this role the Financial Accountant will be responsible for a broad range of duties, primarily focused on detailed management reporting and preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts.

Description

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Producing detailed monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
• The construction of both the budget and forecasting processes
• Producing detailed reports with which to drive business decisions
• Producing balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with the improvement of existing processes
• Calculation of accruals and prepayments
• Assisting with the development and training of more junior members of the team

Profile

The successful candidate for the Financial Accountant position will be:

• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
• Experienced in a number of financial systems
• Able to demonstrate strong business partnering experience
• Advanced user of Excel capable of V lookups and Pivot Tables
• Credible to liaise with senior management
