Client Details

My client is a market leading global services business with offices across the UK, they are in the process of recruiting for their finance hub based in Sheffield.

They are looking for an up and coming technical accountant wanting to move into industry.

Description

The statutory accountant with be responsible for:

  • Year End Reporting.
  • Preparing the statutory accounts for various entities.
  • Liaising with external auditors.
  • Reviewing and understanding the differences between local statutory accounts and group consolidation packs.
  • Review submitted consolidation packs and liaise with the relevant overseas financial controllers.
  • Review the closing journals and ensure that the closing balances agree to the final consolidation packs.

    The successful applicant will be:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified.
  • Have strong technical accounting skills.
  • Be an effective communicator.
