Management Accountant working with Animal welfare charity in Central London. Will suit a strong communicator. Your new company: Animal welfare charity with an income of over GBP100m. This organisation raise most of their funds via fundraising with a percentage coming from trading. The organisation are based in Central London and have a high performing and motivated finance team in place. Your new role: The overall purpose is to work with the Financial Reporting Manager to produce the monthly management accounts, annual budget setting, and to provide a high quality financial support service to budget holders in a partnering capacity within the charity. You will liaise with external auditors as necessary and prepare schedules for year–end audit. You will prepare the monthly management accounts for own areas of responsibility and support budget holders to understand and interpret financial information. Areas of responsibility will include central departments such as HR, Finance and legal. You will also support the fundraising team who have a large budget allocation of approx. GBP30m. What you'll need to succeed: – Considerable accounting experience in a Management Accounts position. – Professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) – Experience of producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts – Previous experience of budgeting and forecasting and ideally of working with managers in a business partnering capacity – Good communication skills, in particular the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and unambiguously to non–financial staff What you'll get in return: This is an opportunity to work with a very worthwhile organisation that is having a very real impact on animal welfare.
