We have a superb opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant to join a small team in the Kildare area. This is a maternity contract that will run until the end of 2017 with the possibility of being extended thereafter. Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be responsible for the following duties: •Preparation of the daily bank reconciliation and preparation of lodgements to bank. •Processing of creditor invoices and preparation of EFT payments for banking online. •Preparation of Sales invoices. •Debtor and Creditor reconciliations to include resolving any differences that arise. •Payroll and preparation of vat/ payroll taxes, and dealing with ROS. •Dealing with internal and external parties to resolve queries concisely and promptly. •Assist and contribute to month end close off.  •Comfortable with preparation and posting of adjusting journals. •General Office Administration duties.  •Other ad-hoc duties, projects and assignments as needed or directed by the Management Team. You will be an experienced accounts assistant with a minimum of 2-3years accountancy experience. You will be highly organised with strong attention to detail. You will be a clear and concise communicator, be approachable and flexible. Strong knowledge of Excel and the MS Suite is essential.
