Our client is a leading corporate law firm with Dublin City Centre offices. Due to continued growth and success they are seeking to recruit an AML / Compliance Executive to join a newly created team.
This new team is being put in place with the purpose of taking responsibility for all compliance and due diligence checks around new business intake within the firm.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Conflict checks - completing preliminary conflict checks on proposed new matters
- Opening new matters - completing new business intake process in accordance with our conflict and AML policies
- Drafting appropriate engagement letters; ensuring the client and the party liable for fees are correctly identified
- Assisting the firm in administrative tasks required to ensure compliance with our AML procedures
- Billing procedures - ascertaining the billing requirements at the outset
- Liaising with IT and/or Finance to ensure the appropriate system is set up
- Liaising with stakeholders in relation to billing requirements on set up of matter
- Audit letters - processing audit letter requests and generating draft audit letter responses
Interested applicants will meet the following requirements:
- 1-3 years experience in a KYC or AML role
- Experience working in a professional services environment
- A high attention to detail
- Proactive and tenacious approach to work
- Ability to work well as part of a team in an ever changing environment
- Strong communication and IT skills
