INTERNAL AUDITOR The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC) is currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Internal Auditor on a two-year contract basis. JOB SUMMARY The Internal Auditor will work within the Commission to monitor and evaluate how well risks are being managed; if internal processes are working; and ensures any issues that affect the survival and prosperity of the Commission are dealt with. The Internal Auditor provides an independent guarantee that the Commission's risk management, governance and control processes are operating effectively. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS (All original certificates must be presented) Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIA, CRMA, CISA, CFE or other related professional qualification) Bachelor's Degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, and Information Technology would be an asset Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Financial Regulations and Financial instruction. Extensive knowledge of the legal framework that governs state and statutory bodies Extensive Knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards and Models Experience in Appraising Governance, Assessment of Risk Management and Internal Controls Experience in Conducting and Reporting on Fraud Investigations No less than eight (8) years' experience in Auditing Minimum of five (5) years' managerial experience Practical experience with Corporate Governance and Risk Assessments Applicants are asked to send a Cover Letter and Resume by April 24, 2019 Manager, Human Resources The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago 11 St. Clair Avenue, St. Clair Port-of-Spain We wish to thank all applicants for their interest.
