The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be a key figure in the day-to-day running of the Accountancy department based in Crawley
My client is a well known company looking for an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join there expanding Accountancy team based in Crawley.
The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be a key figure in the day-to-day running of the Accountancy department.
- Creating new vendors, and set up them up on the system
- Checking purchase invoices and credit notes to purchase orders, and entering accordingly to computer system
- Dealing appropriately with invoice queries, liaising with Purchasing and Goods Inwards departments to resolve issues in a timely fashion.
Ensure payment run for invoices due each week is completed and that payments created are on online bank system.
Participate in conference calls to ensure effective sharing of information and full awareness of others in the finance team and other offices if applicable to the job role.
Treat sensitive data with care and in confidential and professional manner.
The successful candidate will need to be able to travel within the Crawley area and have relevant experience with the above
