Our client, based in North Derbyshire, are looking for a technically astute Group Accountant to join their growing business. Although the business are a global giant within their sector, the finance team in Derbyshire is small enough to give you variety in your role and exposure to the executive leadership team. The role will suit ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountants who are looking to make their first or second move from practice. With good transport links to the M1, our client's office is easily commutable from Central Derby, North Derbyshire, Chesterfield, South Yorkshire, Nottingham and North Nottinghamshire. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE... Consolidation and submission of monthly accounts for the GroupAnalysis of variances against budget / forecastCash flow management and forecastingKPI / MI reportingPreparation and submission of corporation tax disclosuresAnalysis of commercial and investment decisionsPreparation of annual budgets and management of stakeholder queriesSupport with the strategic development planLiaison with external advisors and auditorsAssist with Group Financial Controller with an upcoming system implementation EXPERIENCE REQUIRED... ACA/ACCA Qualified with strong technical accounting backgroundAmbitious personality with desire to progress to a Financial Controller role within 3 years
