A Sales Ledger Clerk position with a growing FMCG business in London. This business needs an Accounts Clerk to be responsible for processing the large volume of invoices generated on a daily basis.

My client is a highly regarded and growing FMCG business based in London.

Description

The key responsibilities of this Sales Ledger Clerk role include:

  • Uploading orders in the customer system
  • Printing PoDs
  • Checking prices for future orders, then uploading into Sage ( will be Xero)
  • Double checking PoDs against information generated by our storage and logistics partner.
  • Reconciling Bank accounts.
  • Following up on queries with our main customer and with our commercial team.

Profile

The successful candidate for this Sales Ledger Clerk position will display the following:

  • Have at least 1 year's experience of high volume sales ledger work
  • Have experience of using an EDI platform
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Sage and ideally Xero
  • Have some knowledge of Excel
  • Be highly efficient
  • Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy with a good attention to detail
  • Be organised but flexible
  • Be conscientious and proactive, taking the initiative where needed.
  • Show sufficient confidence to follow up on queries and have the verbal and written communication skills to do this.
  • Be a Team player
