Robertson Bell are currently supporting a GBP275million T.O Educational Institute in Central London in their search for a Management Accountant. Are you a dynamic, career driven, newly qualified accountant looking for an opportunity in which you can grow an put your own stamp on? Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, this newly created post sits within the heart of a fast–paced central finance team that has gone through a significant period of change management and growth. With overall responsibility for planning, controlling and coordinating the regular forecasts and monthly management accounts of the central function this role will: *Prepare management account packs for the central function, preparing budget monitoring data and advice for stakeholders and ensure variances are identified and explained. Meet with stakeholders regular to analyse their accounts and look at re–forecast options. *Review monthly management accounts for each department and budget monitoring reports highlighting areas that need attention and reporting back to individual department finance teams. Assist each department in their development of internal controls.*Consolidate management accounts for the institute, analysing monthly performance against budgeted or re–forecasted figures. Responsible for accounting to capital projects, monitoring income and accurate reporting to ESFA.This role will suit someone looking to step out of practice having qualified in the last 1 to 2 years or someone with strong hands on management accounts experience gained from industry and a progressive background.
