R&D Management Controller

Our client in Co. Galway has an exciting vacancy for an R&D Management Controller. The R&D Management Controller controls the level of expenses and investments of the R&D entity or perimeter and the plant Net R&D. You will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of several reports and documents, such as; weekly indicators follow up, monthly green book including budget & MTP. Key Responsibilities: Prepares the elements for the reporting, the budget, the business plan and the forecasts. Follows and analyses the actual situation vs forecast and vs budget on the daily, weekly and monthly basis. Ensure accuracy of management control and costing information in the ERP system of the site. Ensure reliability of site Net R&D during closing process. Must alert immediately the Senior Controller in case of any important risk for the company and/or for its employees. Contact with Product Lines or Regional Operations, completing the tasks in order to manage correct operation of GPS module. Constant improvements of her/his knowledge of the IS module - day, Academy. Responsible for all state funding in R&D Department (Tax Credits/ Grants) Work closely with Projects/Business Controller & other members of the R&D controlling team to understand full scope of the R&D perimeter of the Site in order to add value to the control of costs in the entity. Key Requirements: Seniority (even light) is required. Operational experience would be an advantage. Business school (Ecole de Commerce, MBA…) with a major in Finance, Audit or Management Control.
