Working in our expanding Shared Services centre, responsible for managing and motivating a team ensuring the seamless and efficient processing of supplier invoices. Working closely with the Accounts Payable team, this will be a pivotal role working to enhance working practices and drive a culture where continuous improvement is at the heart of everything we do.
About you
A natural and passionate leader who has accountability for the day to day running of the AP area of the shared service centre, as well as motivating and supporting your team. You will have extensive experience of managing the accounts payable process within an operational role and be aware of the compliance required to ensure all the policy processes, controls regulations and service level agreements are adhered to.
Knowledge of SAP is essential, as is the ability to manage and produce financial month end reporting and verification of data. A proven track record in identifying discrepancies and the reasons for this, errors in process and making suggestions to improve these are key to success in this role.
This is a important role within the business and the successful applicant will work closely with others in the management team to help shape the future service provided by the centre and achieve excellence.
