Your new company is a forward thinking, expanding accountancy firm based in Edinburgh city centre. This is your opportunity to join an award winning, independent regional Scottish firm in an interesting and varied Audit Senior role within the Audit function.
Your new role
As Audit senior within the commercial audit function, you will take part in leading audit assignments from planning stages through to finalisation. You will be given the responsibility of leading all aspects of audit fieldwork which will include helping to plan and budget the audit prior to starting, as well as managing a team whilst on site. You will make sure that the field audits are adhering to timescales and budgets as well as presenting your findings once the audit has been completed. There will be high levels of client engagement and you will liaise with them directly with a view to building relationships and supporting the audit team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to come from a similar role with a practice background. You must be CA or equivalent qualified (ACCA/ACA/CA etc) and have experience of leading an audit on site as well as experience managing a team. If you are currently studying and wish to continue within an audit role, then you will also be considered.
