Assistant Management Accountant

Within the Assistant Management Accountant role you will be responsible for assisting the Management Accountant with the budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as have direct input into the month end.

Description

The role of Assistant Management Accountant, involves:

• Bank account reconciliation
• Banking cash and cheques
• Reconciling secure trading/credit card to bank statements
• Analysing expenditure from campus returns
• Internal control reviews of overseas businesses
• Assist Finance team with year end processing
• Prepare deferred costs and revenue files with supporting evidence
• Documentation for maintenance, legal and professional fees
• Cover for purchase ledger and Accountant
• Liaise with other staff, banks, and departments as required

Profile

The successful applicant for the Assistant Management Accountant will be:

• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
• Experienced in a number of financial systems, SAGE would be advantageous
• Experienced in Excel, capable of V Lookups and Pivot Tables
• Confident in using financial date to drive business decisions in a cross-discipline capacity
• A driven and progressive individual
