Are you a budding Trainee Accountant looking to make a positive move into a bigger firm that can support your career ambitions? Our client is looking for a keen trainee accountant with 1-2 years practice experience currently studying their AAT qualification.
The Role
You will gain full training and study support towards achieving your accountancy qualifications and developing your skills and abilities for a long-term accountancy career.
Your core responsibilities will include:
·Preparing accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
·Providing bookkeeping and VAT work to a range of clients.
·Soaking up some great exposure to bookkeeping, accounts analysis and payroll.
·Dealing with ad-hoc queries and occasional visits to client premises accompanied by senior team members.
The Benefits
·You will receive fully funded training and support from the practice in reference to your accounting qualifications.
·Your Team Manager and Mentor will work closely with you to support you through your development and you will be allocated a member of the team who will provide additional day to day guidance and help.
·Salary of £13k - £14k dependant on experience with FULL STUDY SUPPORT!!
·Paid for parking as part of the package.
Skill Requirements
Successful candidates will be positive, enthusiastic and quality orientated. They will be self-motivated with the ability and willingness to undertake and succeed in a range of professional studies.
Ideally candidates will have the following skills:
·A minimum of 1 years practice experience.
·You will ideally be studying AAT.
·Have good IT skills, specifically Excel.
·Have exceptional attention to detail.
·Be a good communicator (both in writing and verbally).
·Have excellent team working skills and able to use own initiative.
