If so this could be just the opportunity for you…Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a well renowned and well regarded firm of accountants who are seeking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their growing team in Leicester. The ideal candidate may be an ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified and will have varied general practice experience including experience of undertaking Audit assignments on a variety of clients. The role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work and you will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of industry sectors. The audit aspect of the role is likely to make up approximately 30% of the overall workload. Duties & ResponsibilitiesAct as an advisor to owner managed businesses on a range of accounts and business issuesLeading of audit assignments (from planning through to conclusion) for significant audit engagements including supervision of staff and client management Review work prepared, ensuring quality in compliance with professional standards/requirementsMonitor budget and understand commercial aspects involved such as billings and collectionsReporting to the manager/partner in charge Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of client types and sizesPreparation of business/corporate taxation computations and returns, dealing with some routine associated tax queriesSkillsACA / ACCA Qualified or Part QualifiedExperience of leading Audit assignmentsFor further information on this role please contact Curtis Reid at Clark Wood If this specific vacancy is not quite what you are looking for please contact us to investigate alternatives; you can send your CV to this job or contact us directly.
