The Role
Reporting to the CEO of the Group and part of the senior management team my client is looking for a Strong Financial Accountant with a practical approach to Financial Control. He/she has a strong leadership profile and change management experience to lead the transformation of the Finance function including organizational and process redesign. An enthusiastic and motivational leader that works well across all functions and levels of the organization. He/she provides meaningful analysis and insights to support business growth and enhance business performance. Meanwhile, the Regional CFO provides solid financial stewardship and safeguards the financial integrity of the company. A new operating model needs to be designed and implemented for Finance. This means centralization and/or creating centres of excellence in respect to all core Finance processes including treasury and capital management, accounts payable/receivable, fixed asset management, financial reporting, and financial planning and analysis. The head of Finance will lead Finance business process redesign and organizational change strongly leveraging technology. The company has introduced Oracle Cloud ERP in 2018 and continues the roll-out in 2019. Objective is to create an agile, resilient, and efficient finance organization with standardized processes and robust controls.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction and management to the Finance organization
- Lead the finance transformation project including process and organizational redesign
- Lead financial close process, consolidation, and financial and tax reporting
- Establish a robust financial control framework
- Lead medium term planning, financial forecasting and budgeting
- Manage treasury, including cash management and receivables management
- Drive revenue and cost management, including activity based costing, customer profitability analysis, investment and project profitability analysis
- Provide tactical and strategic recommendations to enhance financial and business performance to the CEO and members of the executive management team
- Establish and maintain relationship with senior management (across the region), external auditor, tax advisor, and banks
The Candidate
- Accountancy qualification (e.g. FCCA, CA, or CPA) qualification is required
- At least 15 years' experience in Finance
- Hands-on experience with managing a group financial close process, consolidation, and financial reporting
- Finance transformation experience required (e.g. ERP/ledger implementation, RPA, shared-servicing/off-shoring/outsourcing, Finance business process redesign, fast-close)
- Experience with Oracle financials (e.g. Peoplesoft Financials, Oracle Cloud, Hyperion, Essbase Reporting) required
- Experience in working for an Offshoring/Business Processing Outsourcing Service company required
- Experience in working for a global/international company required
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and managerial skills
