Chief Accountant

ABPM as experts in financial recruitment are trying to assisting a Food/FMCG organisation based in the East Midlands while they recruit for a Chief Accountant. The successful individual will be a qualified accountant and a strong academic background who can communicate with staff at all levels, well organised and have good all-round accounting skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Forecast reporting to stakeholders and communicating with staff of all levelsBusiness partner to managers in different departments to deliver and challenge targets.Preparation for month-end, management of budgets and reporting including prioritisation of responsibilities to ensuring accuracy and a timely deliveryCosting, forecasting, profit and loss to assist with strategy processesSupport, develop and assist the finance team where possibleBalance Sheets Reconciliations, Cash flow reporting and VAT returns.Ad-hoc tasks when required ESSENTIAL To have obtained an Accountancy Qualification - ACA/ACCA/ACMAHave a strong academic background and preferably hold a degreeHave the ability to work in a fast paced environment, a great communicator and a highly motivated individualIT literate and be a confident user of Excel DESIRABLE Previous experience within a Food/FMCG organisation Please email CV's first for review against the clients requirements -
