This is a fantastic opportunity for both career progression and global mobility.THE ROLE:To make the role a success you will need to be commercially tenacious and possess the vision to create viable business opportunities and influence decisions in a highly commercial environment.You will work closely with Business Directors to enhance the UK's net margin whilst ensuring that sales volumes continue to move forward.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Financial Controller / Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant / Finance Business Partner / Finance Manager / FP&A / Fully Qualified* CIMA qualified with significant commercial finance experience* Experience of leading and managing a commercial finance team* Strong analytical skills and a track record of supporting and challenging key stakeholders to improve commercial finance decision making* Ability to negotiate, influence and manage difficult conversations* Previous work experience in an environment where you have measurably influenced the workings of a commercial consumer facing/FMCG company.* Exceptional stakeholder management & communication skills enabling you to extract vital information from the commercial teams (Sales, Marketing, Category)* Experience of working in a fast moving environment where you have to make educated financial decisions with, at times, limited time, resources and clarity* Ability to present business review presentations (monthly routines) to the UK and EMEA VP and Director level stakeholders* Educated to degree level* Salary expectations will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.*KEY FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE:* Contribute to the design, framework and implementation of commercial excellence initiatives* Ensure robust SOX compliance* Motivate, lead and engage the team and monitor and improve performance through a transparent and robust performance management process* Hold ROI sign off for promotional activity and margin decisions* Highlight impact of promotional plans vs. budget and forecast* Post Invoice Discount (PID) budgeting and reporting* Review TPI reserves in line with accounting principles (US, GAAP, IFRS)* Margin and variance reporting to the commercial and UK & EMEA senior leadership team to aid decision making process* Lead commercial teams to implement sales and margin improvement initiatives* Lead commercial to analyse performance and identify improvement opportunities to achieve the strategic plan* Manage KPI's in: CPA to GPO, Deal % vs LOM budget per month, Exceptions to commercial policy, Variances vs Profit Plan and Forecast*It is likely you will have previously worked in positions with titles such as: Financial Controller, Management Accountant, Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, FP & A Manager, Finance Sales Controller, Commercial Accounting Manager, Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Manager, Accountant, Sales Accountant, Revenue Management AnalystINTERESTED?
