Link Personnel Services are recruiting an Accountant for our client based in Co Louth. Due to expansion this highly regarded firm currently have a vacancy for a Qualified Accountant/Operations Manager. The successful candidate should be ACCA, CFA or ACA Qualified with 3-5 years PQE Team Management experience. Reporting to Senior Management & CEO and Supporting both the payroll team and their worldwide client base. You will have the opportunity to apply your extensive skill set both in-house and to all third parties. You will help to on-board new business in addition to meeting the needs of the existing client base. You will assist in promoting the firm to a domestic and international audience. Salary : to 70K Contract - 12-15 Month Contract initially with a view to progression within the firm. Location : Drogheda, Co Louth. Profile: Accountant with 3-5 year's post qualification experience. Managerial experience required. In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculations and processing an advantage. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines. Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel (v-look ups, pivot tables) and Outlook. Strong systems experience to include Sage Micropay, Megapay with theability to participate in ad-hoc projects as required. Solid financial acumen with strong analytical experience. Key duties: Lead, manage and motivate a growing Irish and UK payroll team, ensuring rollout of payroll teams desired objectives and goals. Assist the payroll team in determining work priorities in accordance with the workload, deadlines and changing clients requests. Serve as a back-up for other team members and able to handle all key payroll processing areas. Plan, organise and schedule work and process flows on a quarterly, monthly and daily basis. Manage the day to day operations of the payroll department. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all internal controls, KPIs, budgets and other financial and quality control matters with communication of same at weekly management meeting. Be enthusiastic and passionate about providing clients with the highest level of service. Identifying opportunities and implementing solutions with both the existing and new client set. Maintaining and further developing the relationship with the existing client base via meetings, evaluating their requirements, preparing and rolling out SLA's, reviewing of same at regular intervals.
