Description

The core aspect of this role is to develop and maintain strong relationships across operational teams, requiring clear delivery of BI to stakeholders across the organisation. You will be able to communicate effectively to provide insight and challenge the organisation and influence commercial decision making.

You will be tasked with:

• Provide expert financial advice and challenge the management team to support decision making that sustains delivery of the strategic and operational plan

• Inform the business on actions to improve

• Challenge business financial plans

• Support monthly forecasting and the annual budgeting process

• Cash flow management

• Evaluate variances and drive efficiency and improvement without compromising services provided

• Preparation of ad-hoc reports

Profile

To maximise success, the ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and able to demonstrate:

• Strong business partnering experience

• Proactive in developing and improving, to deliver against objectives

• Proven to effectively challenge business decisions

• Have a strong ability to communicate at all levels, to finance and non-finance persons

• Have excellent organisational skills and ability to work autonomously

• Public Sector/Charity background advantageous
