A successful accountancy practice, based in Taunton, is searching for a General Practice & Tax Partner Designate / Partner to join their team. In this pivotal role as a key hire, you will carve an influential role working alongside fellow partners. As a result of future planning for the development of the firm, the partners are seeking a career focused, all-round, general practitioner, with an additional strong lean on the tax side, to join them in this key hire as a General Practice & Tax Partner Designate / Partner . Description

Joining the Taunton team as General Practice & Tax Partner Designate / Partner, you will carve a key role in this firms team, taking responsibility for a sizeable client portfolio and spectrum of limited company, OMB, SMEs and wider clients on the general practice side. Alongside this you will develop a lean on private client tax responsibilities and wider mixed tax exposure. This is likely to involve increasing involvement with the firms HNWI clients, directors, wide ranging individuals and Trusts, delivering solutions on planning opportunities, IHT CGT etc. You will play a lead role in the growth and development of the firm, through business development, networking and identifying advisory opportunities within the existing client base. There is genuine scope to progress and develop your career, with a clear path on offer, for those looking to step up into partnership, or there is equal scope for an a partner level, equity level professional to join the firm.

Profile

You will be any of ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA/ATT qualified, or equivalent, with an accountancy practice background and demonstrable strength and lean within tax, across private client, personal tax, or mixed tax. In addition you will have an all- round general practice grounding and you be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with complex tax issues, project management experience, staff management and the ability to manage a substantial client portfolio profitably. Alongside the technical and people management skills you will be able to demonstrate business development skills with examples of seeking out opportunities for developing new clients. You will be looking for a role with career progression and development potential, within a leading, accountancy practice firm environment.

Job Offer

£70,000 - circa £120,000 plus, on a salaried, or equity basis, with increasing equity share, dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
