Assistant Management Accountant

Global Brand is seeking a like minded and ambitious Assistant Management Accountant based in Warrinton to help them continue a period of sustained growth.

The role is suitable for existing Accounts Assitants who want to take the next step in their finance career or Assistant Management Accountants from SME backgrounds looking to take a positive career move in to a global brand.

Description

This Assistant Management Accountant opportunity will include responsibility of allocated locations to perform the following key responsibilities;

*Preparing monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheets)

*Controlling general accruals and pre payments

*Working closely with site managers and regional managers to influence operational activities, controlling costs and maintain controllable processes

*Production on various daily, weekly and monthly MI reporting

*Prepare and present slides alongside the Management Accountant at a monthly performance review of locations that you are supporting

*Forecasting and budgeting - monthly, quarterly and annually.

Profile

The ideal candidate for this position will match the following criteria;

*Graduate within in finance with a minimum of 2.1 grade (Ideal but not essential)

*Minimum of 1 years' experience working within an accounts assistant role

*Transport experience would be advantageous

*Early stages CIMA / ACCA active study

*Excellent Microsoft excel skills

*Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
