PIO Data Lineage BUK - 90227655 Primary Location IN-Tamil Nadu-Chennai Job Type Permanent/Regular Description Job Title PIO Data Lineage BUK Job Location Chennai A key objective of the Finance Transformation Programme is to achieve greater consistency in the way we operate. The Finance Transformation team is being set up within the Finance organisation and this role is part of the Finance Transformation Team. This role will be responsible for supporting Finance FTCs to deliver a simplified operating model underpinned by efficient processes, data, systems and controls. To achieve this, the Finance Transformation Team work closely with colleagues across Finance BAU teams, RFT COO Process, Data, Technology & Project teams. On a day-to-day basis, the Finance Transformation team would undertake analysis of current and future state business processes to identify optimisation opportunities as part of the operating model design. The team also embed a common language across the bank in development of an overarching process taxonomy. What will you be doing? Translate information by subject matter experts in Finance to capture problem statements Document process optimisation analysis required in order to satisfy the business objective and create potential linkages to the portfolio of Finance Transaction Cycles change initiatives Prioritise work stream requests with business functions and present proposals for resource allocation Base line delivery plans to build process maps and align data lineage and technology architecture designs to create target operating models Identify business processes inefficiencies that delay the target end state Ensure the process design document is representative of how front to back system architecture operates, is in line with Regulatory commitments, cost challenges, client engagement, commercial business decisions and audit/control issues Act and connectors and influencers in building relationships with external stakeholders to continuously enhance the day-to-day operating model for change delivery What were looking for Investment and/or retail banking experience within the Finance function Business Analysis experience/qualifications Process re-engineering experience/qualifications High energy, hands-on and results and goal-oriented High attention to detail Collaborative in nature Self driven & highly motivated Qualified Accountant CA, CPA, ACCA Relevant years post qualification experience Or MBA/CFA Technical Skills Strong knowledge of accounting, reporting and consolidation process Strong knowledge of Finance systems and architecture Good understanding of Derivative products and Barclays business and source system Reasonable understanding of IFRS Knowledge of regulatory reporting Skills that will help you in the role Excellent verbal and written communication skills Stakeholder Management Decision-making and Problem Solving Interpersonal skills Structured & organised approach to working Where will you be working?
