Internal Controls Analyst
Your new company
One of the world's largest integrated utility companies and a world leader in wind energy based in Glasgow is going through a period of change and looking for an internal controls analyst to join the team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of the Group's internal controls model across the group; ensuring roles and responsibilities are understood by control owners and supervisors. In addition to this you will be expected to perform testing of the self-assessment made by control owners and supervisors and report findings to Internal Controls Manager. Furthermore, reviewing minor changes to the controls proposed by Control Owners and keep a library of those changes is a key part of this role.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you'll need to be a qualified accountant or part qualified accounting and demonstrable PQE is essential. Being highly numerate with strong analytical skills as well as having experience in an audit related environment or with Internal Controls experience is important. Lastly, being an effective communicator with strong influencing and interpersonal skills at all levels is crucial in this role.
