Global leader in Consulting Services is looking for an individual with both a technical and commercial mind-set who can quickly get to the crux of business issues and shape the development of cutting-edge technology to help them deliver "game changing" insights to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting a broad range of analytical assignments, stretching yourself across many different types of valuation and industry sectors and engaging directly with the senior stakeholders within our business and with clients.
  • Working in multidisciplinary teams to use data analytics, visualisation and modelling to revolutionise delivery of services to our clients
  • Designing processes to collect or extract data from disparate information streams (e.g. from external data providers, client systems, transactional data, management reports) and the ability to connect the dots and turn them into structured, consistent datasets which can be analysed to create engaging and insightful outputs for our clients
  • Developing statistical models or algorithms which help solve clients' business issues in a way which complements traditional analysis
  • Researching new products and tools, and implementing suitable techniques to solve the specific client problem and deal with potential data availability, quality or accuracy

Technical Requirements:
  • Significant experience building visually engaging dashboards in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI
  • Significant experience authoring workflows with Alteryx (and/or other data blending and preparation tools), creating robust data models capable of supporting complex visualisations and analytics
  • Practical experience of applying analytical techniques and interpreting their outcomes, for e.g. Descriptive / Predictive / Prescriptive Analytics
  • Experience with data management, cleansing, querying and data manipulation / database tools such as SQL on high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources;
  • Ability to deliver rapid, pragmatic, value orientated advice and tools in a consulting environment
  • Experience with assisting business development activities through working on bids and proposal responses

Profile
