Purchase Ledger Clerk - Cardiff £17,000 - £20,000

Your new company
This is an opportunity to join a well established retailer's busy finance team at their head offices on the outskirts of Cardiff. You will report in to the Senior Finance Manager.

Your new role
Duties will include matching invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes, coding of invoices, posting invoices to the ledger, preparing weekly and monthly cheque and BACS payments, issuing remittance advice, dealing with supplier queries, statement reconciliations, preparation of month end accruals.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have studied or be studying towards a recognised accounting qualification i.e. AAT. You will have previous experience of working in a busy finance environment. A good attention to detail and good communication skills.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary in the region of £17,000 - £20,000 dependent on experience. 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays). On site parking.
