We are now actively recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing client who are looking for a Management Accountant for a short term contract to assist with sickness cover and adhoc project work based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be required to carry out the following tasks:
Suitable candidates ideally will have the following skills and experience:
This assignment is expected to last 3 months, so suitable candidates must be able to commit to the duration of the assignment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be required to carry out the following tasks:
- Sales and Margin reporting
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Assisting in overall cost control
- Heading up the production of the month end accounts
- Assisting with product costing, standard costing and variance analysis
- Assisting with the annual audit
Suitable candidates ideally will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a Management Accounts role ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage own time and workload effectively
- IT Literate, especially with Microsoft Excel
- Experienced in using an ERP system
- Self motivated individual
