I am delighted to be working on behalf of my Lanarkshire-based client on an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
The duties will include:
• Timely preparation of management accounts
• Accruals and prepayments
• Posting journals
• Preparation and submission VAT returns
• Preparing year end trial balances & audit papers for the External Auditor and resolving queries
• Assist with the preparation on annual budgets
• Looking after the transactional team
• Reporting updates and results to senior management
• Ensuring any required improvements are put in place.
You will have strong experience managing fast-paced, successful teams, ideally with the construction, manufacturing or engineering sectors alongside a proven background of being responsible for management accounts. Ideally, you will also have worked in an environment with a high volume reporting requirement and be accustomed to this.
In return, you will receive a basic salary of £45,000-£50,000 in addition to a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to join a growing and thriving business.
