Edward Mann are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Private Healthcare company who are looking for an Accountant to join their team.
The Accountant will work on many different projects, as well as ensuring the contract compliance reporting is completed accurately and on time.
This role would be suitable for someone on a 2 year Visa.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Compliance: completing an audit of existing Hospital contracts in place
Working with managers from across the hospital to put contracts in place where they have expired or where they don’t exist
Completing weekly update meetings with key hospital stakeholders including CFO and Financial controller
To assist the Financial Controller and hospital Chief Finance Officer in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of management accounts at the month end.
Assist in the monthly review of Fixed Asset Reconciliations.
Investigating on-going accruals and irregularities.
Desirables
Qualified accountant - ACA or ACCA or CIMA or equivalent (those who aren’t qualified but with relevant experience will also be considered)
Ability to work independently;
Bright, energetic and self-motivated individual with a rigorous approach to work;
Technically strong and great attention to detail
The successful candidate is expected to be numerate, accurate, demonstrate sound judgement and have the ability to communicate confidently at all levels;
Advanced Excel spreadsheet knowledge and experience desirable;
