This position will be responsible for gathering business requirements, testing, implementation and documentation of tax processes, tax authorities and related interfaces impacting the general ledger and payroll systems.Specifically, youll do the following:Assists with all activities for all payroll tax and related system changes and ensures conformance to Company standards, labor agreements, generally accepted accounting principles, tax regulations and internal control requirementsGathers and documents business requirements related to tax processes and business functionAssists with developing and performing the testing impacting the taxes related to the payroll systemRepresents the department in meetings and through written and verbal communication with internal and external customersAssists in identifying and documenting internal controls in support of auditing teamSome travel required, as neededQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field and/or equivalent experience/trainingAt least 3–5 years experience with multi–state tax reporting in a large–scale payroll processing environmentKnowledge of internal controls (SOX, fundamental tax regulations, etc.)Preferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of federal and multi–state payroll tax regulations; ability to research tax regulationsExperience with payroll and payroll processes recommendedExperience with SAP a plusKnowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.Experience with system design and implementationAbility to read and understand multiple labor agreementsDemonstrate outstanding analytical and problem–solving skillsAbility to work well under stressful situationsAbility to handle multiple assignments, changing priorities with minimal supervision#PSTAdditional Locations: NoneJob Level: 3, 4Requisition ID:27965
