Job Description

  • Maintaining a duly reconciled petty cashbook and properly documenting authorized petty cash vouchers and other supporting documents
  • Maintaining duly reconciled stores petty cashbook and properly documenting authorized petty cash vouchers and other supporting documents
  • Dairy reconciliation of stores till statements with system ledger account
  • Supervising Milk audit accounts staff and ensure duties are performed efficiently
  • Supervising stores accountant staff and ensure duties are performed efficiently
  • Supervising and ensuring all society Primary Documents on Milk collection are remitted on time as per the laid down procedures
  • Liasing with the Operation supervisor and Finance Manager on Milk and Store shortages
  • Supervising all accounts staff under the dairy section
  • In charge of Milk Collection rental premises rental payment ,repairs and other such matters in consultation with the Finance Manager
  • Any other duty allocated to you by your seniors


Qualification, Experience

  • Minimum qualifications -CPA 2 and any Diploma in a Business Course
  • Minimum of C - (minus) in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
  • 30-45Years of age
  • Experience in Accounting
  • With at least 3-4 years in a supervisory position in a dairy Industry


Skills and Personal Attributes

  • Good command of English, both written and oral
  • Ability to Supervise junior staff
  • Must be presentable and well groomed.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the accounting principles, practices, standards and laws & regulations
  • Thorough working knowledge of MS Office and accounting software & databases
  • Proficiency in analyzing data
  • Leadership skills
