Assistant Accountant for an expanding business in Abingdon, looking for a talented Assistant Accountant to come in and support a period of growth and consolidation.

Being supported by a talented team above you, you will be able to come in and deal with daily transactional work, alongside supporting the month end processes.

Ideally you will have worked in an SME where liaising between different departments is a daily aspect of your job.

A growing SME in Abingdon with on site parking and a brilliant team who will invest and train you.


This business is one that is going through a significant period of growth. The business is expanding both in regards to Turnover as well as number of staff, processes and infrastructure.

They have significant on-site parking but are not available to access via public transport.

- Management of new suppliers

- Ownership of the whole P2P process

- Management of all Billing and invoicing

- Credit control and cash allocations

- All Reconciliations

- Working Alongside other department heads to resolve issues and act as a junior business partner

- Support team members with new processes


The successful Assistant Accountant will be able to use their strong people skills to be able to liaise between various heads of department.

A daily use of Excel is standard.
