An exciting Financial Controller role within the Sports Industry paying between £90,000 - £95,000. The role is based in the City of Westminster, close to Regents Park.
The candidate would be in charge of all aspects of financial management and reporting in support of the CFO. The role is expected to have significant stakeholder engagement at all levels of the business.
The role would suit a technically strong controller with excellent commercial acumen.

Responsibilities:
- All areas of financial control, management accounting and management reporting for all areas of the business
- Leadership responsibilities for anumber of direct (4) and indirect reports
- Delivery of a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and ensure compliance with IFRS
- Driving improvements and efficiencies to monthly and annual budgeting & forecasting, providing analysis as required to support central functions and management team
- Business partnering with internal & external stakeholders, providing financial advice to support key decisions
- Implementing and devloping robust financial processes to drive efficiency
- Travelling to business sites to support the regional teams, maintaining training/engagement with head office processes
Requirements:
- A recognised accounting qualification: ACA or equivalent
- Proven experience within a senior finance role, with strong technical knowledge
- Experience preparing management and regualtory financial statements, period end close processes, and auditor liaison
- Strong business acumen and people management experience
- Netsuite (desirable)
