Accounts Payable Supervisor role paying up to GBP33k for a startup retail business in London. AAT. ACCA. CIMA

Your new company
A start up retail business that is just 8 years old with a turnover of almost GBP50m is looking to recruit a new Accounts Payable Supervisor into into their team in London. The company have recently moved into their new office space after outgrowing their previous office and now hosting a headcount of almost 100 people. The business are going through an exciting time with new global brands joining their existing portfolio.

Your new role
Sitting in a finance team of 8 and reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the accounts payable team. You will look after, train and develop 2 people in the team and this will include one–to–ones and ongoing reviews. You will ensure the AP process is consistently improved and implement new procedures where necessary. You will also assist the Management Accountant Financial Controller with annual planning and month end tasks.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 2 year's experience working in an Accounts Payable role and must be confident in your start to finish AP knowledge. You must be able to deal with high volumes of invoices and have a proven track record of process improvement. It is not necessary for you to have supervised before and this is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to step up into that supervisory role. Although you will be given ample guidance and support, you will be need to have the ability to take ownership of the process and the function and influence improvement.
