They are seeking an equally ambitious candidate for the role of Assistant Financial Accountant.

Description

This Assistant Finance Accountant role will offer a varied position and an exciting challenges that will range throughout the following duties;

Produce monthly account

Produce half year and full year accounts to be published

Reconciliations (balance sheet)


Manage accounts payable (or Purchase ledger)


Manage accounts receivable ( or Sales ledger)


Manage credit control


Liaise with tax accountants


Liaise with treasury (cash flow forecasting)

Approve BACS payment runs

VAT reporting for UK and Ireland; Returns, Intrastats & EC Sales Lists

Assist Financial Accounting Manager with production of the quarterly legal pack for submission to Corporate Consolidations by published Group deadlin

Completion of all standard accounting routines in accordance with team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) targets

Profile

This role will require a strong understanding of management and financial accounts with the following proven skills / academics / experience;

*To be a part qualified accountant studying a charted accountancy qualification (CIMA / ACCA / AAT)

*To have a strong understanding of financial systems - Advanced Excel is essential With SAP giving you key advantage

*Health care / Commercial experience is advantageous

*Hard working and committed to the business and the progression prospects would be advantageous
